Hale o Kawaipuna is located in Kailua, Hawai`i, on the windward side of O`ahu. Enjoy swimming, windsurfing, hiking, body-boarding, biking and kayaking in Kailua.  The quiet, north end of Kailua Beach is within easy biking/walking distance - just a mile from our bed and breakfast accommodation. The world renowned Lanikai Beach and Kailua Beach Park are also nearby, just a few minutes drive/bike ride away. Kailua Town features many unique small shops, a wide selection of restaurant cuisines, and even a Macy’s. We are in the country, but also close enough to the city to conveniently enjoy the entertainment and cultural venues in downtown Honolulu. Waikiki Beach and Honolulu International Airport are each a 25-minute drive from Kailua, and Marine Corps Base Hawaii is just five minutes down the road. All main Oahu tourist attractions are within an hour's drive of our location.
